What is the PPWR?
The PPWR is the new EU regulation on packaging and packaging waste. It replaces the previous Packaging Directive and creates directly applicable rules in the EU member states.
For companies, this means that packaging is becoming a key compliance and data issue. Affected companies must be able to understand what packaging they place on the EU market, what roles they play, what data is already available and what evidence is required.
