Mariella Julia Franz is a doctor of law from Graz, Austria. Her 25 years of professional experience ranges from international cooperation for sustainable development abroad to intercultural legal advice for companies. Since 2021, Mariella has focused her multi-disciplinary knowledge and international experience on corporate sustainability. She completed the “Leading Sustainable Corporations Program” at the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford and is a GRI certified sustainability expert. In 2022, she founded her own company as a management consultant and is an active member of the sustainability working group of the UBIT section of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. As a sustainability expert and member of the B Corp Movement, she advises and supports SMEs in the following areas ESG reporting and ESG regulatory, B Impact Assessment (B Corp certification), sustainability strategies & ESG business models, ESG market communication: greenwashing & green claims. Mariella works in German, English and Spanish.
